The Saratoga sunglasses are back and better than ever, still made in America using the finest global components. Most famously worn by John F. Kennedy, reviving the Saratoga from the original AO archival designs required great care and careful updates for modern ergonomics and fit. AOLite nylon lenses offer long-wearing comfort, featuring a backside, anti-reflective coating to reduce glare, as well as an oleophobic coating to minimize smudges. Seven-barrel hinges provide extra stability.

Great glasses, case sucks

The frames are amazing. I wish there was an option to just buy frames without shade lenses—I need prescriptions in all my glasses. These are the most sturdy frames I’ve ever owned. Also, it’d be nice to get a hard, non crushable case with these frames. The case provided does not seem like it will protect the expensive frames I just bought—in fact one wrong placement in a big bag feels like it will be a disaster. I just wish they had stronger cases. That and it would be nice to have an option to just buy the frames are my two biggest complaints. I bought two Saratoga frames in different colors—one for glasses one for shades.
