Hazemaster revives another highly sought-after style from the American Optical archives of the 1960s. It was specifically designed for outdoorsmen, fishermen, hunters, and marksmen, featuring a sweat bar and unique yellow Hazemaster lenses that cut through fog, mist, or haze. The total absence of the blue end of the spectrum from the Hazemaster lens produces a crisper outline in outdoor haze. Autumn foliage viewers favor Hazemaster lenses because the reds, ambers and yellows of fall leaves are much more vivid with blue tints absent.

Great Sunglass, However Not Accommodating for Smaller Heads

Have enjoyed these new sunglasses so far, and love how the green lenses really enhance autumn colors in landscapes. However, the 172mm arm length is too large for comfortable wear, especially for a smaller head or face shapes. Offering only a large size feels limiting and exclusionary, making the fit the one drawback. Love the cable temple style, and would purchase again or recommend more if smaller sizes were available.

Excellent pair of sunglasses in a really classic style

Excellent pair of sunglasses in a really classic and timeless style. The quality, fit and finish is excellent. The cable temples are far more comfortable than one would expect. Additionally, the have the added benefit of keeping the glasses secure and stable while wearing.

Hazemaster Glasses

I have been an AO Glasses Frame user for 60+ years. Unfortunately under the companies NEW Business "Model" I can no longer purchase the Frames only or replacement parts. I wind up having to buy Sun Glasses with Lens I have No use for. I have worn Prescription Glasses since I was 15, I was issued and able to buy AO products through Military Supply and Military exchanges. So under what I assume is NEW Management that appears to also Not Support the United States Military. AO products are no longer available. AO Provided Glasses to our WWII and Korean Conflict War Fighters, AO still use at the Start of the company Ads, Pilots glasses as part of the advertisement. I personally am disappointed with the Companies current Business Model. I think there are more of us Military Service Members that really like AO Frames, Not happy with having minimal support and having to purchase Sun Glasses we don't have any use for the Lens. But can use replacement parts occasionally.
