Formerly known as the FG-58, Original Pilot aviator sunglasses were first developed in 1958 for the needs of American military pilots. By 1969, they had been to the moon as part of the survival kits of all Apollo astronauts. Still made in the USA from premium global components, still engineered to rigid military specifications, these aviator sunglasses are built to last. Engineered for comfort, bayonet-style temples allow you to remove your glasses without taking off a helmet or other headgear.

I will order a 2nd pair!
May seem expensive but it is 100% worth it, these are the highest quality sunglasses i've ever had and they blow everything else in this shape out of the water.
Fantastic optic Fantastic Co. Great fit, great clear lense! I’ve only worn these sunglasses since becoming an adult!
Great fitting frames!!! I use them for my prescription lenses for both sunglasses and regular glasses and have since my service in Vietnam.
I've been a fan of AO glasses since Army flight school in 1969. As an Air Traffic Control Specialist, I was issued a pair in the mid seventies. They've been through a lot but we're always my favorites. It's nice to now have shiny new ones.
Made so damn well, you'll want a second pair.
